Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Purchase orders are required to pay by check. Credit card payments are also accepted.

All attendees must register online and pay directly via credit card or by providing a school district purchase order (PO) to commit to payment by check. In order to complete the registration process, you will need the following items: (a) purchase order number and purchase order file to upload (for check payments) or (b) credit card number.

Not sure what a purchase order is? A purchase order (PO) is a document your school or district uses to approve and pay for things like your CAST24 registration. It acts as a promise to pay, so you don't have to pay upfront. Once the PO is processed, the school or district will send payment directly to STAT. Be sure to check with your school office to see how they handle POs and what information you need to provide for your registration.

Please make the check payable to: Science Teachers Association of Texas OR STAT

Checks should be mailed to:
Science Teachers Association of Texas
3305 Steck Avenue, Suite 200
Austin, TX 78757

Please make sure to include a copy of your confirmation receipt, purchase order number, and the names of attendees along with your check. Please note that it can take up to 1 week from your check’s arrival for your payment to be processed. Attendees can also pay their balance by check the day of the conference during registration desk hours.

You should have received an email confirmation when you registered for the conference. If you did not receive an email confirmation, please contact stat@statweb.org
